The Foundation for End of Life Care was first established in 1997 as the Foundation for Hospice and Home Care of Juneau, and originally funded with a bequest left by Juneau resident Verna Carrigan. It was created as a development foundation to exclusively support Hospice and Home Care of Juneau.
The Foundation is governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors, made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations in Juneau and Southeast Alaska by providing grant funding to help develop and support hospice and end-of-life care services.
